Rare Lucky Strike Cigarettes Original Outdoor Billboard Canvas 53" X 106" No Rsv

Here is a fabulous and RARE outdoor billboard made of lightweight canvas with beautiful color lithography so far as I can tell. Back before the days of interstates, outdoor advertising boards were about 4.5 feet tall and about 7 feet wide. They didn't need to be any bigger because you were only driving past them at 45 mph or so and they were installed right alongside the highway. Remember Burma Shave?
This very rare Lucky Strike collectible came from an antique store in Louisville, KY back in 1980. It has NEVER BEEN GLUED up. Condition is very good with just a couple of small water spots, creases and wrinkles. Mounted properly on a foam core board or thin plywood, it would make a MAGNIFICENT PERIOD GARAGE or RESTAURANT SIGN. It was once part of the office decor of an executive who worked in the tobacco industry.
A "tax stamp" in the upper left corner dates this billboard to 1940. You'll be hard pressed to find another one like it. Selling because I no longer have a place to display it.
